We are not appropriately educating ourselves in comparison to the previous years of human existence. There is more knowledge flowing around on these networks than is humanly possible to learn. It’s establishing a more connective relationship within the human race but once technology becomes something that is uncontrollable by its creator, it has a possibility of doing more damage than good.
The designer is god in this global network. Invisible information connected with the world that could detrimentally affect the way people perceive the world. It’s too much power to somebody that can so easily stream information that can misconstrue factual information.
The reasons for these massive networks lie in one key word: efficiency. Breaking down a component to its most basic function creates an ability to observe, alter, and master these processes. If a mass organization tool becomes part of this process there is a possibility of over-computation creating an overload of information or processes .
If we are the ones creating the algorithms and the programs there are going to be imperfections. Computers act definitively, so if they are definitively acting incorrectly, they are not serving their purpose of facilitating human existence, they are complicating it.
We are these imperfect creatures attempting to create perfection in communication, and we have done well. Networking and computation seem to fill in the blanks in which humanity lacks, but if this pattern continues they will overcompensate the organizational process and move too quickly for the human brain. There needs to be a speed check because we are indeed moving more slowly than our technological counterparts.
